Staple Country Fayre - 24th June 2012 - CLUB STAND

We have been invited back to this again after the great success of having us their last year. They were so grateful to us for attending that they donated £100 to the club (which was passed onto the clubs charity).
Also everyone that attend had a great day the weather was scorching too! You can also have the opportunity to drive your classic around the central arena under questioning from me!
It will be a great opportunity to show off the club to over 1500 people (that's the rough amount of
people who went last year). Please help me make this a success for the club!

SUNDAY 24th JUNE: Another great Staple Fayre. - As well as all the usual favourites (It's a knockout / Tossing The Bale etc), we've also got A FUNFAIR this year! Then there's: Thanet Classic Cars, East Kent Acro Gymnastic Display, a "Dog & Ducks' demonstration, LIVE MUSIC, BEER TENT, Barbecue, Ice Cream, Strawberries, tons of different Craft Stalls, a Produce Tent, Crockery Smashing, Coconut Shy, Bowl For a Pig, Soft Drinks Stall, Baby & Toddler Toys, Lucky Dip . . . . . . . and tons more!! Come along and have a great day out (and don't forget to tell all your friends to come too).

Staple Country Fayre is a great opportunity to display your
classic/vintage car off at a family friendly event that attracts over
1500 people every year.

The Country Fayre is to be held on the
24th of June at Staple recreation ground (CT3 1LB). For those who don’t
know Staple is in Kent near Ash and Sandwich. The classic cars have
prime parking and it includes free entry to the fayre for those
displaying their cars.
The fayre is open from 11am till 5pm, but classic cars will need to be positioned by 10am. (There will be a cruise from Thanet).

This year along with the car display that I have been asked to organise it includes:
East Kent Acro Gymnastic Display
Dog and Ducks demonstration
Live Music Stage
Loads and loads of craft stalls
Tombola
Tossing the Bale
Barbecue
BEER TENT!
Refreshments
Produce show
Grand Draw
Cake Stall
Nearly New
Toys and Games
Ice Cream
Bouncy Castle
Coconut Shy
Smashing Crockery
Bowl for a pig
and much, much more!

Awards and Prizes voted for by the public
Best in Show
Runner up Best in Show
Least likely to get home

If
anyone has a car with a particularly interesting past/story with it
maybe a massive restoration or a famous past owner get in touch as I am
looking for vehicles (and owners) to use for a moving display in the
main arena, under questioning from me.

Cheers for the "hardcore" who turned out even with the rubbish weather. I think we still had a brilliant Day.

Just to prove that the public does know best, the wolselley 1500 did blow a tyre out on the way home!! New tyres coming this week!!
