Fundraising Event - Need opinions

I am very close to organising a display of classic cars in a VERY good (I.e. busy) location in Thanet for collecting money and promoting the club.
The only problem I have is the cost of insurance, if I was to organise this would people be willing to pay £5 - £10 ish to display there car?
Obviously this is just an idea to try and combat the high cost of insurance taking away from the money collected on the day. (If you have any other ideas let me know)
I am still trying to haggle a better insurance price with our insurers....

I am expecting the answer to be a No. But having never done anything like this before and it is OUR club I wanted to gauge an idea.
