| Anyone know where I can find a cheap set of Classic Mini exterior door handle set (2 door handles and a boot lock) in chrome with keys. Much Thanks | |

| The way I look at any car you buy is to have a new set of locks both for the doors, boot and personally a new steering lock? ignition klock that way you know nobody else has the keys especially previous owners. After all you have spent thousands on buying or retoring your car, just my 2 p's worth and food for thought.

| But Bill half the time you don't even need a key to get into classic cars?
I barely lock my van, waste of time if someone wanted to get into it they would.

| Lee I am the same what is the point of locking a convertible, they only slash the hood, far better to disable it. It is nice though to have one key for both doors and the boot

Bill That I agree with, wish I had kept the original locks from mine so that I only had one key and not 3. But you live and learn I suppose doesn't bother me too much. Disable it and fit a tracker  ~Lee | |

| You can have it, I had a look at it today and the key has gone walkabouts, you can change the barrel over with your current one, its only a 5 min job! If you want it you can have it for free! | |

| I know this is an old thread but did you find some handles? I have a set of black/grey ones with a key that need some tlc you're welcome to have. I was gonna body colour them to match my mini but I got treated to a new chrome set. | |
