| Hi, guys is there anybody out there who could do some welding and change the engine in my camper. It's blown the head gasket and I would like to get a more modern engine put in. I know it would be a fair bit of work but I will not be using it for a few months. if I could get a rough price or day rate we could work something out. Paul | |

| I think you might be best speaking to Kev Mc on here! His welding is top notch!
Can give you his number if you are interested?
I really don't know who would be interested in doing an engine swap to a more modern engine as its not exactly a bolt in job (although I may be wrong).

| You could ask about engine swaps on the essexclassic forums If its a Ford, they will more than likely have an answer to any questions about Fords. Or if you prefer I could ask for you, would be 'copy and paste' of your posts with same with the replies back to here. | |

| That would probably be preferable as Paul doesn't get on here much I think.

| Hi guys, thanks for the replies, Lee is that the kev that lives near the Old Charles Pub? Have got the heads off and they don't look too bad, will try and keep the engine for a while and see how it goes. On the transit forum someone put a vw caddy engine in a flat front transit, way beyond me but he said it was fairly straight forward! Paul | |
