| I just need to change the brake shoes and bleed the brakes, starter motor turns very slowly and seems to drain the battery very quickly before she fires up so I will need to look at that, then the MOT. The main problem is the lack of power in my lock up, so I can only really work on her during the day.
Thanks for the manual offer, I found one in the glove box that has little paper notes inside different pages, so I have a rough idea of the work that has been done at some point. | |

| Good luck with bleeding the brakes, they can be a swine to do. I'm sure you know all the tricks, but I usually have to resort to giveng the pedal a few good swift kicks. John Wearing recommends - if I recall correctly - getting rid of as much air as you can by conventional means, then jamming the pedal down overnight to get the last few bubbles. | |
