| When driving in the snow make sure you :- 1 - Follow the car in front really closely so you can be sure to see the brake lights on the car in front when they come on 2 - Phone someone while driving, They will be able to talk you through any skills you are not sure of 3 - Go as fast as possible so you reach your destination quicker which means less time driving in the snow (that has to be safer) 4 - If you do start wheel spinning use as much power as possible (preferably on the rev counters red line) this will wheel spin you out of all situations. 5 - If you feel you can possibly drive any further abandon your car anywhere you can. This will warn other drivers that conditions are bad Stolen from Hazzard VW's Site! ~Lee | |

| You forgot. Max allowance of clearence of the snow from screen 6 inches by 2 inches or about the size of a letter box. Saw one stupid ??? this morning on the school run, all windows covered with snow, windscreen?? I think the wipers had packed up after a six inch sweep, she was croutched over trying to see were she was going through the small gap at the bottom of the screen, past the school patrol, turned into our close, over the curb, then dropped of four children for the school. Well this is Essex. | |

Well this is Essex. Ahhh Bless... they have no ideas do they. A few christmas's ago I stood outside a green grocer's shop and listened to a young girl/woman While pointing at a stork of sprouts, tell her child how the man in the shop had pinned all the brussel's to a stick to make them look pretty. I thought ahh she's fooling the child, she turned to me and said "That must of taken him ages" | |
