| Welcome to the site! It would be great to see some more pictures of Herman! How long have you owned him? I think it was me who put a leaflet on him, on Friday night, Western Road? I think. My mate lives like 2/3 doors away and I was dropping him home! ~Lee | |

| Hi Herman is a 1275cc Mini Sprite. It was purchased last year and the previous owner garaged (as we do) the car much of the time, only getting it out for special occasions. The car has low mileage and apart from the odd bit of British Leyland rust, it is in pretty good condition. We have tried to keep it as basic as possible but have stretched to wood and pickett wheel arches with wider minilite wheels to replace the steel ones, bullit chrome mirrors and we added the chrome grill to give it a smarter look. We hope to have an A panel replaced shortly and the scuttle panel needs some work. It will have a partial respray when this is done. I am told the subframe is in good condition and the sills and floor pans are pretty good, they are undersealed with wax oil. Mechanically the car does not miss a beat and has certainly improved after some work on the timing, a new distributer cap, plugs and leads were fitted. So to the name Herman!!! Well we have not got a clue why it was named Herman but thats down to the previous owner. I wonder whether its a direct mickey take of the BMW mini being that its a German Car. It has a 100% BMW Free sticker in the rear window, fitted again by the previous owner. We have noticed that some BMW mini owners have a sense of humour failure when sighting it, but its just a bit of fun. We'll get some up to date pics for the site at the weekend. Regards Paul, Leah and Herman | |

| Hi again! Thanks for all the replies! I will get some more photo's uploaded! We have been gradually adding new bits and pieces to it and I need to update my photo album with all the changes! We didn't manage to go to any shows last summer but I am hoping to make the most of it this year! It would be great to find out of any that are popular within the area? I am also hoping to do a London to Brighton run too!! I think it's a must!! Leah | |

| I opened this expecting to find some German (herman the german is what I have refered to all three of my BMW's) but instead a rather tidy looking mini! Nice looking car, I am outdoors a lot. I will keep a look out for members cars! | |
