| Already started looking for an imp shell to build into a scalextric car for a battle. No cooling issues for Luke to mock this time! Dont think my idea for a Series Landie model will proove competitive though ! | |

| Well I have looked into it and there are kits of my cars available with resin shells and all the gubbins to assemble them. They are however £36 for the std Imp and £50 for the stiletto! They then need assembling and painting. Seems like a lot of money. For the time being I will challenge Lukes mk1 escort with my SCX subaru imprezza. 4WD and magnatraction! | |

| Had a chat with a lad today who is very into his scalextric stuff. He said the track at the crampton tower place is most likely a digital setup as thats what everyone is running now.
If we are bringing older cars they will need some modification to run so we need to find out if they have an option for older stuff.
To upgrade an old car to digital needs a £10 chip soldered in.
I guess we need to see what they have and work out if we bring our own or use theirs? I can find out if you like Lee? | |
