Spud has arrived

Hiya guys

Im Spud, 17 years old, live in Minnis Bay, currently in 6th form at Ursuline College in Westgate, and i ride a Vespa i have been into classic cars for about 7 years, always preferred them to modern cars (apart from Ferrari's which are the best no matter what age ). My grandad had a Vauxhall Cavalier mk2 1600 GL auto hatch which he owned from new in 1983, i loved it to bits! But when he passed away 4 years ago we didnt know what to do with it (had i known about the mk2 cav forum at the time id have just given it to someone on there so it wasnt wasted) and had it scrapped never regretted anything more than that!

My dream 2 car garage would be a Cav mk2, and a Rover P6 3500S!

Currently cant afford to run a car, or insure one, so im sticking with my scoots for now (bearing in mind i can buy a scooter, Tax and Mot it, insure it and buy it stuff to bling it up a bit for the same as the insurance for a car would cost, they make more economic sense for me at the mo )

this isnt the actual car, but its just like my grandads one (apart from this is an L, and his was a GL )

Hi Spud, Welcome to the forum Good intro, I had a rover P6 2200 when I was 19 It was my pride and joy, I put in a CB radio and thought I was one of the sweeney

Shame about the Cavalier, good cars in their day and easy to maintain. Some great pics there Spud, Scooter looks fun what CC is it?
