Mini - London to Brighton 2012

Mini owners of Thanet Classics... Are you planning on doing L2B2012? Due to a back injury I missed 2011 but hope to have Oscar re-paneled and box fresh by this event and thought it might be nice to do this as a club/mini event.
I'm hoping for a positive reply to this as I'm sure the mini owners and enthusiast in the club will have a good day out!

Count me in Alan! If i can, and it is a big IF, i might possibly be able to bring both mini's along :S

Just for your information!

You will need to apply using the application form printed in the March and April editions of MiniWorld Magazine, this can be found in WH Smithsand most good newsagents and it is usually in the shops from the middleof January, and then repeated in the middle of February. Tickets are on a first come first served basis, so you should apply as soon as possible. I would also like to mention that in the last two years we have had a number of applications fail to reach us due to the applicant not adding sufficient postage, so please do ensure you pay the correct amount, and remember that large envelopes require large stamps.

You also need to include an A4 self addressed envolope with a stamp. Spoke to Ben and Tom today so far we've counted around 8 mini's that have said they are up for this. Can any body that definatly wants to attend this pm me your name and number. I've been on to the London to Brighton website and am grovelling for consecutive run numbers and parking and have been given a name and number to call and beg to and then maybe send all applications off in one big envolope!

I've had a message from Jim Darville tonight. He's ask me to write a but about the club for him and he's going to put a bit about us on the official site and facebook site. He's probly able to sort out consecutive run numbers etc.. And he might (no promises) be able to sort a small area for us to make a little stand!

I've got a basic write up that I have done I will forward it too you!

I've sent him a few basic details of the club, contact details, website, when we meet, the charities we raise money for, and the kinds of cars in the club. I grovelled my pants off and explained that the clubs about 18 months old and how we're trying to get the club name out there and he seemed quite interested.
As I say, anyone wanting to attend this, I could do with your details private messages to me so we can get our applications in by end and January!!!

up to one now, but she keeps running on, The bulkhead soundproofing was jamming the choke open :S but I have fixed it now, one more mini to go!!!
