| So what cars should you have never sold?
I am probably a bit young for this thread as I still have the cars I have ever had but post up what cars you should have never got rid of, including pictures if you have them. I have a feeling Lukes list might be longer than others....

| For a brief period, we got a sweet beetle cheap from an old fella. We flipped it to make money to help fund for a new interior for the Splitty. However, for the minute price we payed for the bug, for the condition and history. I wish we kept it. 1 previous owner, sold by the very garage my dad worked at for a long time, In dover. Still had the soap washer stuff in the glove box, the garages plaque on the dash. sold it to a young girl who wanted to paint over the OG paint.. with purple .... | |

| Unfortunetly I still own virtually everything I have bought and most cars I have sold on were either beyond salvation or I had no love for. However I went through a stage, when my insurance became affordable, of buying a selling a few 80's Saab 900's with a view to turning a quick profit. I do regret the sale of a low mileage 1 owner F reg 900i 16v with T+T which was badly listed on ebay by a saab dealership in crawley and I won for £50. It was virtually spotless but I sold it on. Its only crime...it had too many doors! Wish id kept it now. The one car I really miss was a C reg 900 16v turbo. It had lunar mileage and was rotten as a pear but it had a sought after gearbox with unusual ratios and it was quick. No other turbo I have driven has had such aggressive torque steer or accelerated as quick. It was a lot of fun but with 278k on the clock I bottled it and sold it on before it broke | |
