new member from Ramsgate

Hi, I would like to introduce myself to you fellow classic car enthusiasts. My name is Frank Griffin and I at least know a few of you already (Dave Lewer with the Prefect hotrod pickup and 1962 Ford Consul Capri, Martin with the Ford Thames/100e hotrod van, and Den and Vee with their Hillman Minx's, Mk8 Minx and Frogeye Sprite. I myself own a 1955 Austin Cambridge which I have installed an MGb engine, overdrive gearbox and rear axle. My everday car is a 1967 Morris Minor with slot mag wheels which I'm sure many of you have seen around the island. Lastly, I am a member of the Rattlersuk club, which is a local Thanet based hotrod/kustom club which has about 12 members now and is open to all classic, hotrod and custom enthusiasts alike.

Well I have just bought Den's 1959 Hillman Minx to add to my small collection of classics and intend to use it as a daily runabout and improve on it's condition over the next couple of months. I'll get klassicdave on here to sort out the welding and I'll do the filling and paintwork and bring it back to original condition.

Hi Frank, good to see you on here mate. Just noticed you had bought Den's Hillman minx. Hope your getting on with my old mig welder ok?
