So there is a recession on but have a look at this auction page from Friday.

also at this auction is the original batmobile created by George Barris based on a Lincoln Future any guesses on what it will fetch ?

$4,620,000.00 and it sold for the batmobile and using today's conversion rate that is £2,910,137.901 obviously bought by Del Boy

After looking at other sold prices there, it was not that expensive, an MGB fetched £12,000.00 and it was only nice externally needed a lot to make it really nice and as for the VW's they must be mad Surprised

I watch chasing classic cars on sky and it never ceases to amaze me what they pay for cars out there .

Yet people import them from the states as they reckon they are cheaper over there.
Are we missing something or are the imports Bleep they cannot sell over there ?
