| Ok we know there is a member with a couple of minx'e, I am refering to the car for this query. There is a person in the USA trying to remove the "Dash Pad". So far he has removed the screws along the underside of the panel and thats as far as he has managed, it wont budge. He wishes to know what the next trick is. Any hints Den ? Den, are both wiper arms the same length as his are different length and he want's to know which goes were.

| Hi Roger, Den has been going through his Hillmans books and has one that is from 1956 to 67 but as yet to find anything to say how the dash can be removed and length of wipers. But doubt that the wipers would have been different lengths, our 56 and 60 Hillmans all have the same length wipers. If he does come across any more information will let you know ok.  | |

Thanks Den as well for me.
Wonder if the wipers arms are different for LHD, doubt if bodywork / outlet for the shafts was a different stamping, if the mechanism has been altered to sweep for LHD the blades might drop off one side of the screen hence shorter arm.
I have suggested he checks the sweep of both arms and see if the long one drops of the screen on one side. | |
