| If anyone hears of a 100e or e93a engine on the market let me know please. Even one that needs rebuilding. Always handy to have one on standby. And I fancy a 100e to modify, stronger engine but a straight swap. Some size as well so no problems with V5. Would also get upgraded to lead free. My E93a has had it's full bore out, so would need resleeving back to standard bore, so a spare would be handy, E93 or 100e. Roger | |

| Thanks mate. Hopefully just a flat battery, but the B thing refused to turn over this afternoon, just clunk On charge over night and play with it again tomorrow, after I bring the garage up to temp. | |

| Starter motor nackered. The nut on the end of the bendix has spun itself off even over a split pin. This happened before so it was refitted and a tack of weld on the end. Got the nut out before but this time it has dropped into the bell housing. OH the joy of classic motoring , well at least you can get at things Roger | |

| Well if the rest of 2011 goes like this I'll have to keep my lottery tickets up tp date. Been down with a virus for the last few days, so been browsing through some old sidevalve club mags. Got to the latest and there was an advert from last August. Phoned and parts still up for grabs, so will be taking a trip to Bolton nr Manchester next Sat to collect 2 x e93a engines, one, I am led to believe, has been reconditioned but some of the bits are missing, second is a runner but a bit bottom end noisy. Also a lot of parts for a Ford Prefect, bonnet, screens, distributors, lights etc.etc. All spares acumulated over the years for his Prefect, now sold Job lot £150. Even with fuel costs must be a bargain. Now got to make some room somewhere. So now looking for a 1933-36 Morris, Wolsely or MG gerabox, will fit the e93a with four speed. | |
