| I would chuck the dubs in this, but I think my 36 hp aircooled engine might have a struggle to keep up with you lot I'll take you on in the Polo though! Ohh and btw I think the reason the race tuned engined imp broke down was because it couldn't handle the slow pace hahaha. ~Lee | |

| Imp vs mini?? Pah!!! As if the imps didn't get humiliated enough back in the sixties by us, they want to have a go now!!! Sure they were as quick, but couldn't win cos they kept peeing themselves before the end of the race with their posh but porous see thru aly heads!!! So how do the imps intend on beating us round a race track when they couldn't make it on a five mile crawl around Thanet??!!!!! Pmsl!!! Minis rule ok!! I feel a fight coming on!!!!!!!! |

| HaHa, so not only do we get to embaress and upset a few imps, we get to go for world domination too? As for richard's imps, before he can think about taking on the mighty mini's he may have to get Kristian to stop stealing parts out of his engine bay! Lol | |

| I wish I still had my Bug. Was always quicker round brands, and Mini's used to pull over to let us pass on Rally's. Having said that Mothers Mini clubman estate, in the mid 70, was a fun motor to drive, Tuned 1300cc minis in the 70's were rare then. When we were children we were always running to keep up when out walking, pedalling like mad to keep up on a bike. So it was no surprise to find when she started driving we had to be quick to keep up | |

As for richard's imps, before he can think about taking on the mighty mini's he may have to get Kristian to stop stealing parts out of his engine bay! Lol Kristian cant be blamed for that Alan as it was my brother Jay who had robbed the parts from my singer that day! Honestly we have 2 flippin garages of imp spares and he pinches parts from a working car! Regarding Kris's orange imp on the cruise Lee is right. Because he has a competition engine built to run at high rpm it did not suit the slow pace at all! I missed all of that as Jay had the imp with Kris and I was driving my landie. Anyway on the subject of trackdays Id love to have a go and hope to be building my turbo imp this summer for that specific purpose.

Hehe yep, I shall nail on a spare saab Garrett T3 onto a 930 engine. What could possibly go wrong? If the build doesnt happen in time my bro is more than happy to take my place on the track in his 300zx twin turbo. If you look at it from a power to weight perspective im sure its still a fair fight for you mini boys.

| Richard, you can put all the Hillman badges you have on that 300zx and it wouldn't disguise it as an Imp! Lol. And I'm sure Kristian would do just fine on the first few corners but all jap cars come unstuck and fall over. We'll have ya, sun, rain or snow!!! | |

We'll have ya, sun, rain or snow!!! No your right mate it would be tricky to disguise it as an imp! My brother Jay owns the 300zx, Kristian owns the orange imp. You may not have met Kris yet. Was he at the Tues meeting I couldnt make?
