| I'll phone him when I leave home at about 0500hr. Mind you if I leave a bit earlier the Dartford crossing is free before 0600hr. Going to try and do the run down without any major roads, IE the old A2 not the duel carriage way or Motorway. | |

| Not yet Rob Still drying out. Didn't get as many photos, after the cruise/run, as I usually do. Even with all the rain I enjoyed the trip down and back, and the cruise even if it did seem a bit of a farce, cars everywhere, lost count of how many different cars I saw in all directions. The route out of Bogdale, with chart was like a Rally route chart, not quite 'Tulip' style, but the same idea. That's OK if you have a navigator with you, and trying to follow another with lights and roundabouts to contend with HAHAHA it became a 'spot the car' event, saw one old car about six times, not saying what, But having said that, was still good fun. But at Ramsgate, organized chaos. That might have been because the run started late. Trip home was rain all the way home, and a few accidents (was more like a battle field). Half the time there was so much spary you couldn't see 50-100 yard and they still drive nose to tail in the outside lane at 70+. Ended up back on the old A2 as the motorway was blocked. I trhink you picked the right day for Abridge, how can it change from tripical weather to arctic in one day. would still like to do it again, but better weather next time please Lee. | |

It's usually a chaotic free for all. Tony | |

| Glad to hear you enjoyed it Roger, I have to agree having never done the run down it was a bit chaotic, I feel a map would be more useful than the morse code you get given as instructions! But to be fair I can get lost in Thanet so a map wouldn't have made much difference! Was a great day! Shame about the weather! Pictures soon! ~Lee | |

| Hi Lee and all , this is a short description of how our day went , we should have been arriving with one 420G and one 50s Cadillac , but after Keith filled up the caddy with diesel by mistake that was the end for that one aaaaaagh . Not to be beaten he changed to the XJS . We was last out of Brogdale , and it was quite late so sod the route we opted for M2 and Thanet Way . After hiding in the cafe for most of the afternoon avoiding the rain we returned to find we were the only cars left at the show ,two lonely Jags shivering in the rain , last again !!! This is true Classic life for the enthusiast , despite all this we still enjoyed the day . Thanks for letting us join you all on the stand and hope to make it to one of your club nights soon .
