| Anyone have any old company vehicles that we no longer see in Thanet. I found this on the net of a old Bedford HA Rediffusion van there use to be every where when i was a youngster | |

| I learned to drive in a Bedford HA van. These were based at the goods yard in All Saints Ave during the 1970s. I used to drive the artic. | |

Brilliant vans, the firm I worked for when I left school used them, I believe they were ex Telecom vans. They seemed really nippy but a very hard ride. Mind you I had a lot less padding back then | |

| If yours were ex telecom, I'm guessing they were the later ones with the HC engine - 1256cc. The one I learned in was 1966 with the original 1056 engine. Still seemed quite nippy by the standards of the day. Cetainly quicker than the lorry in the picture. 54mph flat out (and 6mpg). | |

| Very nice, I saw the smoke from one about 3 years ago at the double doughnuts at college road, I raced up St.Peters road to try and have a look but wasn't quick enough | |
