Blue mk1 cavalier 1600 GS in average condition parked up all day 16th march on one of the avenues between westbrook ave and seafront (barnes ave,fitzmary ave etc)

Also spotted yesterday (Saturday 26th) a minty minty green Morris Marina (I think) in Cliftonville Tesco's car park!

metallic green morris marina been floating about margate for years, i use to work on it when i worked in a garage in broadstairs!! old boy has had it for years the man is in his 90s!! lives near hungary horse in cliftonville!!

I think that marins lives opposite one of my mates, the old chap who drives it keeps it garaged, its certainly the cleanest marina I have ever seen!

I'm havin dirty thoughts about leaving a note on the windscreen of this offering to buy it, but I don't have anywhere to put it and the rust looks beyond my limited skills/budget

Go for it! I think it is an automatic thou. The rust doesnt look that bad, it wouldnt be that hard to do yourself.

It's has got a slushbox. The rust is worse in some places than the picture really shows. Not terminal, but certainly beyond my limited skills. I also don't have anywhere to put it to do it up and mrs86 will probably divorce me if I have a "rolling restoration"
