Harbour Arms Meet, 17th May - Meet at Red Arrows

Hello, I have just literally got off the phone with Fiona from the Harbour arms to propose a meet there and we have decided the 17th May, which is the third Tuesday of the month.

Details:
17th May
Meet at Red Arrows Club at 6:45pm to leave at 7:15pm sharp
Cruise over to Margate Harbour Arms.

Hopefully we should all be able to park right a long the harbour wall at Margate!

Also you could go grab some fish and chips from Pete's Fish Factory just off the harbour!

Hope everyone is up for this and likes the sound of it!

Look out for more different meets, I am looking into a few other places a bit further a field, any suggestions let me know!

Hw about the spitfire memorial cafe as another alternative not sure when they close or if a sat would be an option but I know the MG club did s run there last year as I talked to a few of them

That was on my list as well as the Hornby Hobby Museum, I will look at dates then speak to them.

Sounds good lee, problem is if it rains for more than 10 mins the escort rusts, parking it anywhere near the sea will be asking for trouble! lol I might have a contact for the spitfire museum if this is any help?

Oh yeah.... I was just musing. Won loads of awards about 10 years ago. But pretty bad nowadays.

Apparently there is a cafe on the Harbour as well, had no idea. I will be looking forward to this excuse to go up there!

Spoke to Graham, Fiona's other half, who im doing a job for. They are well chuffed we are putting a gathering on at the harbour arm!

Parking is now confirmed, we are not in the car park we are as far up as they can get us in front of an exhibition and most importantly near the BAR!
Parking is FREE as we aren't in the car park. The tide times look good as the lowest tide is at 5:50pm and high tide is 23:58 so its perfect for us!

Tony do you reckon you could get us some shout outs for this on the radio and I will try and get hold of the newspaper?

I have told them 10-15 cars.

Need to know rough numbers so if you are thinking of coming let me know, would be great to pack the harbour out and make a good impression (and take some awesome photo's while its still light!)
