Laon Circuite Historique

This event next year is planned for the 12th and 13th May 2012.
If you have never heard of it do not worry but to me and others it is probably the best, this year we had a 200 km road rally on the Saturday and as usual on the Sunday they close the town off for the streel parade come circuit.

Add on ferries and hotels an expensive weekend I think mine cost me £800 for the two of us all told but I did have the best hotel.

After attending this rally for nearly 20 years it has got bigger the first one was about 10 from the uk and about 40 from france this year was about 750 in total.
So if any of you fancy it let me know, takes me 2 hours from calais its only 150 miles or thereabouts.
One certainly to put in the book.

When I have a car worthy of such an event I think I will!!!

I was chatting to my friend Jonothan from CCT and he already has filled the hotels in Laon with over 300 entries from the UK still has some spaces in outlying hotels and I have 2 rooms left right in the centre of Laon.

I have done this event for the last 2 years. First year went in my MX5 RC Sport, this year bought a 1998 Mini Cooper just for the event, now for sale at £3995. Next year already booked and I will be going again in the MX5.

they may well be limiting to cars over 25 years old due to the popularity, unless it is something really special. Then you may have seen me receiving the keys to the city in the town hall.
I am however a member of the club/association so find out earlier than most.

We are going out on the 09.20 train on Friday and we always stay at the Camponile just outside of the town as it has nice small friendly atmosphere.

know the hotel been there years ago, but too far out for me la banniere is 150 metres from the town hall ok dearer but at leat we are up in the top town, who did you bookn through
