| A friend has an aeroplane which is certificated to run on petrol (as opposed to avgas), provided that it is ethanol free. Avgas is currently around £2/litre so the incentive is obvious. He has done some research and found that Sainsbury's premium unleaded contains no ethanol. In view of the compatibility problems between even small concentrations of ethanol and some of the seals used in older cars - something I am only too aware of having just had to replace the seal in the fuel reserve tap on the P6 - I thought this might be of interest. | |

| That is good to know as I usually shop at Sainsburys in Broadstairs and usualy fill up there too.
I used to fill up there for the LRP when they used to sell it, my Morris Traveller ran well on sainsburys LRP. sadly, they stopped selling it. | |
