Tenterden

Austin Counties Club autumn rally at Tenterden railway station, 8 & 9 October. While there will, unsurprisingly, be more than a smattering of Austins, all makes are welcome. No pre-booking, just turn up. I shall be going on Sunday.

There will be steam trains running throughout the weekend for those, like me, who have yet to grow up.

Thought I'd bring this back to the top.

Always a pleasant day with a wide range of cars - not all Austins - usually mostly 50s and 60s, and a small auto-jumble (which is mostly Austin). No entry cost, good cafe on site, two minutes walk to the town and, as already stated, steam trains running all day.

The Austin probably wouldn't make it that far after its split radiator, but I may pop up for a nosey on the Sunday, I bet Den and Vee are going.....

We could well be going, going to look up location on map etc: and some one else might like a ride on a steam train!!!!
