Evening all.

Evening, Won't go into to much detail as don't want to bore you to death (only been here 2 minutes) I'm from Margate (Charlton, London originally) 27 years of age and own an ex-mil 1971 Land rover LWB series 2a (probably seen her driving about around Thanet over the past 3 years) she's a 2.25ltr petrol, 4 speed with a few minor mods very capable motor off road and in snow/ice (just wish she had a better steering lock).

I'm a member of South East 4x4 Response and host/maintain their websites (and a few others) for them. always willing to get me hands dirty (as long as tea and bacon butties are provided) so if anyone needs a hand feel free to give us a shout.

Unfortunately se4x4r also host their meetings on the first tuesday of every month up at mickey's diner on bluebell hill so I'm not sure if I'll be abe to make any of the meets but hope I will at some point get to meet up with some of ya over a brew and a sarnie.

I also own a 1971 Series 2a lwb petrol 2.25 in white which I think you may know as we have waved to each other on a few occasions! Ive also seen that yellow 88 out an about a few times as well.

Think ive mostly seen you when heading back from the tip as I know your landie is just off tivoli road.

Hi Number6 I think I've seen you about a few times, the yellow 88 is dads but he will rarely wave to anyone as he's a miserable begger and yep, we're on the Tivoli one way system. Feel free to stop off for a cuppa if your passing and we're outside (you may get a spanner shoved in ya hand though)

Quite a few series landies around Thanet, got a laning day planned for Tuesday with a few local 4x4 owners so I'll post up some pics when I get back if I don't break anything.

yeah it would be good to see some pics of you guys using your landies in anger! Having just spent a lot on having my rear shock mount fabricated and replaced I will be going easy on mine for a bit!
