So here it is, I know you have all been waiting for the final updates!

As you know it went back to the paint shop 11 days before Volksworld for some touch ups etc, and this is how it looked when it came back!


On that night we decided it would be a good idea to turn it around and back it into the garage. We were wrong we ended up pushing it into a wall and scratching the right hand side arch and door badly. Cue my mate Darren repainting it in our workshop at about 11pm the next evening. But that is all forgotten, that wheel arch is unlucky!

Here are the next few nights/days progress, I am not gonna lie I am very blurry on which day was which but most days started at 9am and finished around 11pm with Thursday night ending at 3:10am (on the Friday) for a 8am start to get to the show!




My table of shiney bits, that I hate to think how much ££ is on there....



Frameless safaris all in and looking sexy


Headlights in.




Bumpers and door tops painted about 4 days before the show!


Side repeaters on!


Speedo in!


Wheels polished, can you see the difference!



Interior starts going back in!





Front end looking awesome!


And that's a wrap at 3:10am.


I am sure I have more pictures on another camera but can't find them for some reason!!

I can sympathise with you about the long hours Lee

Did a couple of 24hr round the clock sessions in about 71/2 for the VW stand at Earls Court while working at 'The Wood'.

hi lee checked out all your pics late last night on here and your photobucket. your bus looks fantastic in them and it looked like a great weekend, i couldn't make it to the show this year (gutted) would of loved of seen it parked inside with all the other show cars. will you be taking it to the next thanet meet?

Engine now runs (all we needed was petrol), new shocks fitted as well as a front torsion bar leave (thanks to Kev Mc for the help in diagnosing) and connected up the gear linkage, tomorrow we are putting the clutch cable in and we are ready to roll for the meet tomorrow!

I think I can fit 7 in it? Although it doesn't like the weight of more than 5 people I found out the other day!

I do need to take a picture of me after I have driven a long with the safari's open! Open front window plus long hair is hilarious!!!
