| Hi fellow members, I'm looking for a small workshop/garage/barn or shared workshop for me and my mate so that we can get our classic cars under cover and be able to work on them regularly. If you have or know of anybody who would be willing to rent us a place, could you please PM me. Thanks for reading this and fingers crossed
Regards Frank

| Bill, I went out to Peter Thurston about the spare workshop space you said he had for rent and he said that he himself needs additional workshops for his Jaguar projects???
Vee, I'm so glad that the petrol tank saga has now been successfully sorted and your gorgeous Austin will be soon running about our roads once again. I'll pass the news news on to Dave ;-)

| Frank I must have misunderstood what Peter said then as he said to me I could have gone over there with him, obviously it was only for me, I will keep looking for you. Bill | |

| Bill, I have found certain suitable work spaces, but they are more suited to business's as the rent and service charges are just too dear for enthusiasts unfortunately.
Still looking fellow classic fanatics ;-)

| Well, still haven't found anything yet fellow members and am now seriously thinking about selling my 3 classic cars as it breaks my heart to have to keep them outside and open to the elements. I have found a few workshops for rent, but all of them have been wanting business rates and so have been simply out of our price range as hobbyists. I'll continue to search for a few more weeks, but then I'll admit defeat if nothing materializes.
Thanks for reading this

| A former neighbour rented part of an old farm building in Manston, which I believe was around the size you are looking for. I understand there were several similar units for let, but I don't know whether any are currently vacant. I don't have any contact details, but it is on the corner of Vincent Road and Flete Road. The yard used to belong to the house opposite, but I don't know whether it still does. I will try to get hold of him, but in the meantime it might be worth having a look and perhaps asking around. | |

| There is a chance I may have found somewhere for you from one of my customers, I am seeing probably tomorrow, it may need all 3 of you going into it as there is a locked yard and shall we say 2.5 workshops/ garages. as far as i know 1 unit will take at least 2 cars and the other at least another one plus a secure yard. | Also I am after somewhere for storage of cars only. Needs to fit around 8-10 cars if anyone hears of anywhere. Again not after anywhere commercial, as I don't want to have to pay business rates. If anyone hears of anything. Must be local. I would be really grateful for any information!
