| Got the Radiator out of the DLM ready to deliver to County Radiators. 4 @ 4BA nuts and screws gave me problems, had to cut them off. Won't be using 4BA on the re-build, or four bolts. The Rad is a close fit inside the nose and I was expecting to have to lift the body but once all loosened off it lifted out easy. Think I'll go for re-core with up-rate as I can see two places were it had leaked in the core. Anyone had a Rad uprated with a re-core, how do they up-rate a Radiator. Roger | |

| Hello guys I have a question... I've always admired cars, classic cars and well done modded cars. I am due to get my first car to 'play with' as a hobby. Its only a little mk2 Xr2. My question is - Do you think I should make it original, just out the showroom look, or a bit unique with a one off paint job? I doubt we'd be keeping it too long once done, but I dont know whats best for the car. Your opinions would be great, thanks | |

| Lol, someone wanted to px their mini years ago but my other half turned it down. I told him to take it, but typical man, didnt listen to me lol Its a 1989 (f) red one. Sunroof and mint pepper pot alloys. We was looking at another F reg red one but it had been resprayed with no pinstripes and didnt have the original engine (not that that is the end of the world) but we thought that if we were to do the car as the day she came out the showroom, then we'd stick with the first one. She needs a bit of welding and the engine is a bit smokey but nothing thats to hard to sort out. | |

| Today I got under the car and re-attached the exhaust at the 'Y' piece, taken the carbs and inlet manifold off, sorted the blow comming from the center pipe where the manifold bolts to the block and managed to put it all back together. All on my own too!!! Go me! | |

| Just finished rebuilding the trailer after nearly losing a whole suspension unit on the nearside, one bolt was all that was left holding it on. Had to make some heavier mounts and an extra chassis cross member for the suspension units. Think the poor trailer gets the pot holes I dodge with the DLM, narrower track on the trailer. Good job I didn't go to Blackpool. Still it is now ready, and almost loaded, for next weekend | |
