All year round all weathers. Ther is a company in Maldon, Colliers coach works. My Mate Rob, the one who has the ford pop, and kick started me in my rebuild, works there, he also collects and delivers before and after construction. They make anything from pickups to Artics, trailers, dumpers council wagond coaches etal. Also ground up builds. I'll ask him next time if they still get rolling chassis delivered. Volvo trucks in Chingford, Rydale trucks, (not sure if their still trading) used to get rolling chassis, with or without cabs delivered even in the late 80's I have seen them with wooden cabs, and plastic screen, around the driver, the timber gets skipped or broken up for firewood.

All year round as far as I recall. I'm guessing they would be illegal now under construction and use regs.

As Andy said it's probably illegal now, I'd imagine they would be moved on a transporter, like to think it still went on though. Do you think your mate would have any photos Roger?

That brings back memories of my old M.A.N. Surprised a lot of car drivers at the lights seeing an artic with 45 foot trailer leaving them standing. That was a beast and a half, only trouble it was so quiet you could easily run away.
Thinking of all the waggons and cars I've had or been in charge of, I always seem to draw the right straw. Even the ones in the army.
My Volvo F7 did 750,000 mile in my hands, second clutch when he sold it, and in showroom condition, and broke down once, top radiator hose, half hour after phoning base was mobile again, and that little beaut used to leave a lot of bigger motors standing. Used to leave the Scania 141 we had on the M2 Rochester bank, and the F10 and 12 we had. Used to do a beer run from Dover to Isleworth London. 5 of us out of the dock together, If I hit the bottom of Jubilee way first I'd be on the pump out at Islewoth before the next one appeared, if I wasn't first we all arrived together. And me with my punny F7 as apposed to Special built, with more gears, and the bigger engines F10's and 12's he had made for the contract.

The Government have issued a warning due to the cold weather.
They suggest that anyone travelling in the current icy conditions should make sure they have the following:
Shovel Blankets or sleeping bag Extra clothing including hat and gloves 24 hours worth of food De-Icer Rock Salt Tyre Chains Torch or lantern with spare batteries Road Flares or Reflective Triangles Empty Petrol Can First Aid Kit Jump Leads

I love those sketches, my favourite by far is "The front fell off!"
Some brilliant lines in that! "Is there a minimum crew requirement?" "Yes" "What is it?" "Well one I suppose" HAHA

Japanese banks have been hit almost as hard as American banks: The Origami Bank has folded, and we hear the Sumo Bank has gone belly-up too. Bonsai Bank plans to cut some of its branches. Karaoke Bank is for sale and is going for a song. Meanwhile, staff at Karate Bank got the chop, and analysts report there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank, where workers fear they may get a raw deal.

I heard vandals have broken into an origami exhibition and ruined all the exhibits,
police are trying to work out how events unfolded..
