- Tony, as I'm using my iPhone to go online at the moment I'm unable to upload them but have posted pics on both mine and oscars facebook page. If you're very nice to Lee he may steal a couple of of one of them.
They looked the nuts in daylight and I really couldn't wait for it to get dark yesterday to see their full effect! They look awesome. A massive thank you to Richard number 6 and his brother I'm on the case..Leeeeeeeee.............................................

| Thank you Lee, thanks Tony. Tom, I've thought about spots but everytime I come close to getting a pair I think about how clean mini's look without them. As retro and cool as a set would look I prefere the 'un-cluttered' look on the front. That was the reason the over riders came off and went on my bros car too. | |

| Hi all. Well I finally got around to it! Out came a rather smokey engine. Then a few jobs to do before the new one goes in. Is there a better way to spend a Sunday in January? Robin | |

| Liking the look of the spitfire! looks a nice easy engine change with that bonet off but i bet the bonnet was a bugger to get off in the first place You should get some more pictures up of it and tell a bit about it. Also my car reached 66000 miles on the way home tonight! The more it goes up a little more of me dies inside! it had only done 54k when I got it Tom | |

Me & the wife went by train to Coventry to pick her up, unseen! Risky!!! Noooo. But this is how we got her. Note the use of red paint, to protect...everything!! I will have a go at putting the story down in the projects section as soon as poss.

| I have used my car once since 2008, its had the under carriage stripped since the and a not so hardcore suspension fitted plus a LSD and other tweeks to improve handling and err more handling after all power means nothing without control and it does'nt take a lot of that to scare the shite out of yourself lol.. so roll on summer. |

Tom Ok Tom, I've hone and got a bargain from Luke in the form of a set of cooper spots and brackets. Fitted them this evening and love them! Unfortunatly I think I'm going to have to go back to standard headlights as I think it'll look better

| Tony, they did look fantastic, and great at night, but after looking at how the spots look with both sets of lights, I've gone with the original ones. But the angel eyes will be kept for the next project | |

| I think your right, if you have the spots you really need the original headlights for the complete effect. Can you post up a photo with the spots fitted | |

| I'll post up a couple of pics today, with both sets of headlights, then we can put it to the vote. I'll be changing my smoked rears to clear rears today too, just to complete the whole clear/White light look. | |

| Yes mate I'll be there tomorrow. The brackets basically use original holes under the front bumper, so fitting took about 20 mins. I could probably make the same kinda brackets out of scrap at work, they really are that simple! Just looking for a rind fog light now to compliment the spots and go for the Italian job type look | |

| Ah right, yer I have some miller fog lamps I could fit, although I have been thinking about it and might buy a 2nd hand grille and mount them in it, and then I found some old lucas fog lamps . . . . . . . I think I am getting carried away as the car isnt even remotely near to being on the road yet. Should be going in for spraying this month, I have completely stripped it out, all there really is apart from the wheels is the steering wheel and the speedo! | |
